Job Details
* Serve as first point-of-contact for HR queries from line managers and employees on relevant employment law issues in line with Company Policy and Procedures whilst providing accurate and timely information and advice
* To assist with the development of Company processes, policies and working practices in accordance with legislation and best practice.
* To ensure that HR processes remain fit for purpose and maximise the most efficient use of Human Resources
* To coach and develop managers and supervisors in HR responsibilities and company processes
* Owner of HR issues as appropriate: -
* Performance appraisals
* Absence management
* Redundancy process
* Site advice and guidance within region
* Industrial relations advice/guidance
* Handling of discipline and grievance issues
* Provision of advice and guidance on remuneration issues
* To direct complex queries which require either detailed local knowledge/presence or ongoing support, to the HRBP
* To assist with HR input into bids / tenders
* Be proactive in facilitating organisational change
* Provide advice and contribute to the implementation of HR Programs and change management initiatives
* Undertake HR Project work and research as directed
* Provide generalist HR support across their region and organisation
What you'll need to succeed
* A Levels or equivalent
* Membership of CIPD
* Previous experience across a broad range of HR activities including:
* Disciplinary / Grievance situations
* TUPE
* Redundancy
* Absence Management
* Performance Management
* Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and control own workload
* Excellent communication skills and ability to promote and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality
* Well-developed IT skills
