Our client is smaller Management Consultancy with a strong client base, a reputation for service excellence and an exciting future. They have recently secured significant investment to support their ambitious growth plans and as a result they are now looking to recruit a Resource Planning Manager based out of their London Head Office. This is a high profile role within a small business and will need someone with good experience in a similar environment and the confidence to work in partnership with managers at all levels.

Key responsibilities will include

* Tracking project pipelines and understanding upcoming resource requirements
* Ensuring a thorough understanding of the capability and competence of all staff and supporting senior management on decisions on who/how to deploy them
* Working in partnership with HR, Talent Acquisition to build a pool of approved and high performing associates, interims and contractors
* Communicating realistic expectations with regard to resource availability before and during bids and tenders
* Proactively addressing staff development needs in response to potential skill shortages or project challenges

The ideal candidate will have

* Previous experience of working in Resouce Planning within a professional / corporate sector
* An understanding of the sales process and pipeline within a management consultancy environment
* Strong personal credibility and confidence
* Plenty of emotional intelligence and an ability to quickly establish trust and relationships with key internal stakeholders in a blue chip corporate environment

This is a high profile role and there is commitment from the business to buy in to fresh thinking that will help them meet their ambitious growth plans. London based (West End) there is likely to be some travel across client sites and other regional offices.

Salary: £50-£55k + benefits
