Supporting the Director This role requires and experienced HR Assistant/Officer/Advisor to join their head office function covering maternity.

It's a highly varied role, responsible for all the generalist HR activities you would expect within a busy, dynamic, people focused organisation. Including:

* Supporting managers with recruitment related activities
* Coordinating the onboarding process arranging new starter inductions.
* Employee relations - providing support with disciplinary cases, grievances, performance management etc.
* Occupational health - managing long term sickness cases, organising referrals, return to work arrangements
* Dealing with any HR related queries
* Liaising with payroll to ensure enquiries, ad-hoc instructions and payroll changes are processed.
* Assisting with company benefits administration.
* Providing monthly reports, completing HR administrative duties, and assisting with various projects

Applicants must have an enthusiasm for HR, coupled with solid understanding of UK employment legislation and practical experience gained with in a similarly demanding / changing environment.

You'll possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines & respond quickly to changing priorities and, a high attention to detail. You will be flexible (some UK travel required), organised and a self-starter, with excellent customer service, IT and communication skills.
