It's a role for you if: you want to bring your personality to work, you want to have an opinion about how things can be done better and get to try it out and if you want a job that will allow you to develop across the talent space.

You will be surrounded by really smart people. In fact, it'll be your job to find, on-board and develop those really smart people! It's an entrepreneurial business that encourages creativity, learning and personal development of everyone. They operate as a genuine 'team' and the leadership work hard to maintain the culture that has made them so successful, not only making this an enjoyable place to work but also underpinning a big part of your role. Working closely with the leadership, specifically the Head of People, you'll support the talent strategy and manage the day to day operations across recruitment, onboarding and many aspects of L&D.

The core of the role is in leading on all recruitment activity, which is seen as a key aspect of the broader company strategy so taken seriously across the business. Currently there is a heavy reliance on recruitment agencies, this role will develop more internal capability in candidate sourcing so you can really have an impact and show quantifiable ROI. There's a really robust assessment process in place to support recruiting managers know the score so you shouldn't need to spend all your time battling stakeholders, rather you will be working with them to secure the best talent. One of the key things for those of you currently juggling too many open requisitions is that the scale means you'll be managing only a few roles at any one time so you'll be able to give each the love and attention it deserves.

In addition to the recruitment, you'll support across talent management and people development. This starts with the onboarding of new hires through to the ongoing development at all levels. You will work closely with managers to identify the developmental or learning needs and then come up with a solution.

You'll need solid academics (you're working with a bright bunch, so they'll appreciate that). You'll need experience in recruiting professional types (ideally across consulting, technology and graduate hires) and will have either broader experience in other areas of talent and L&D or have a good understanding and desire to develop in these areas.

If this sounds like something that's right up your street then drop us a line - we'd love to hear from you.
