Payroll Manager (Fixed Term contract/Interim)


 c.£50,000 basic salary plus Benefits/equivalent daily rate

Our client, a forward thinking and entrepreneurial business is looking to appoint a Payroll Manager on an interim basis, to lead the delivery of payroll and related Change projects and Communication initiatives.

This is a challenging and interesting role, where you will operate as part of a specialist team, reporting to HR, and be responsible for the implementation of best practice payroll and benefits processes. This is a role which allows the opportunity to add value to enhance and drive forward a positive culture.

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced and qualified Payroll Manager with a proven track record of delivering an in-house payroll, for a growing business, understanding complex pay and tax rules. 

You will be hands on and be able to enable continuous improvement at an operational level. Commercially astute with experience of Change management and process improvement implementation, you will need the confidence and tenacity to motivate and engage the senior management team. The ability to build credibility quickly and evaluate and implement procedures and processes to ensure an efficient payroll will also be required.
