Exciting opportunity for 3 Regional Trainers to join this rapidly growing business – these roles will initially be on a fixed term contract basis until April 2010, but are likely to be made permanent. You will be a key member of a newly created Learning and Development team. Working collaboratively you will help to deliver brand new training plans and programmes for employees including sales and customer service. Covering a large area, these roles will include lots of travel and some overnight stays.
Deliver learning interventions that are customer service and sales growth focused.
Work closely with the management team within the region to match their growth plans with the learning needs of employees.
Evaluate and monitor learning outcomes to ensure their effectiveness and communicate results accordingly.
Proactively engage with your region to support national learning and development initiatives.
Support the successful onboarding of new starters by implementing the newly designed New Starter Programme which includes assisting with the delivery of the Company Induction Day.
Communicate closely with colleagues working in other regions to share best practices, ensure that training content is consistent and that there is no duplication of effort.
Person Specification - Knowledge and Experience
Background and experience in retail, travel, hospitality or similar
Experience in supporting the full training cycle
Knowledge and experience of blended learning solutions
Be a fantastic communicator with a style that is both engaging and confident.
Experience of delivering learning programmes that encourage the learner to acquire new skills, knowledge or attitude that can be easily transferred back in the "day job"
Good level of coaching ability
Be as happy to work on own initiative as working with team members.
Full UK Driving Licence - (Essential)
Formal training qualification - (Desirable)
