Learning and Development Officer

Reporting to the HR Director, this is a key new role, responsible for developing and implementing the Learning and Development Strategy. You will engage with staff and managers, advising, sourcing and delivering effective learning and development solutions as well as supporting our staff from the beginning and throughout their employment with induction, wellbeing initiatives, performance management and management development. You will be a key member of the project team implementing the L&D modules of our new HR system.
You will be looking to develop, be outcome focussed and recognise that great organisations are the result of a truly engaged workforce. Your experience of working in a learning and development role will be backed up by your excellent communication, training delivery and presentation skills and the ability to deliver in a busy role. You will understand the importance of equality and safeguarding in an education setting and will be able to ensure we meet and go beyond our statutory obligations.
