We are supporting a successful, international business with the recruitment of a well-rounded HR Business Partner to join their busy, vibrant team in the city. Working closely with senior leaders across enabling functions including Finance and IT this varied role will give regular exposure to board level directors as it looks to add value across the spectrum of talent, learning, change, organisational effectiveness, reward and engagement.

You will lead the delivery of the HR strategic and operational objectives to drive a high-performance culture and will work pro-actively to understand the business agenda and link activities around talent, development, performance management and reward etc to push forward its achievement. Reporting to the Chief HRO and as part of a progressive HR team there will be scope to add value to key projects that drive continuous improvement alongside steering change initiatives. Hence experience of change management projects will stand you in good stead. The business has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and HR in it's current progressive format has only been in place for just over 2 years, so not all the infrastructure you may expect in a major corporate is in place, providing both the opportunity for creative and strategic thought and the requirement to grounded, pragmatic and to roll one's sleeves up to ensure delivery at times.

The organisation has a real energy about it and this role would suit someone who is looking to forge ahead with their business partnering career as part of a vibrant, up-beat HR team. You are likely to be a CIPD qualified (or equivalent) HR Business Partner who has gained experience within a larger blue-chip organisation with whom they have built a portfolio generalist HR experience encompassing Talent and Change Management. You should be a confident communicator used working with demanding board level stakeholders who will challenge you and expect resilience and constructive challenge in return. You should have a collaborative, pragmatic, open and engaging style that believes in and has the ability to use data and analytics to both influence and to inform and shape strategy and actions.
