A well-known NHS organisation in London is seeking an outstanding and inspirational professional to join them as their Head of Recruitment.  

The purpose of the role is to act as the strategic lead for the resourcing function, overseeing a high-quality service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strong relationships are developed with divisional and directorate colleagues
  • Provide strategic and strong operational leadership for the development and delivery of the Trust’s resourcing strategy
  • Provide oversight of the management of medical staff planning, both for training grades, non-training grades and consultants
  • Drive the development and application of integrated HR information systems, applying technology to support the delivery of business objectives
  • Provide specialist advice on workforce productivity and lead on specific workforce productivity projects
  • Ensure the payroll provider delivers a high-quality service
  • Provide an excellent medical and non-medical recruitment service and on boarding functions
  • Supervise a number of resourcing staff across the department

Essential Criteria:

  • Extensive experience in delivering recruitment strategy at a senior level
  • Experience within a healthcare organisation
  • Ability to lead a large resourcing function
  • Record of achievement in delivering significant change in a complex environment 
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation and best practice
