Here at Adam, we're supporting a fledgling Fintech business to source an HR & Talent Business Partner role for their brand new Manchester satellite office.

Attitude is imperative here; you'll need to be happy to roll your sleeves up and help establish the office.

So what will be doing?

In the first few months you will support your key stakeholders to effectively resource and onboard approximately 35 colleagues. Following this initial resourcing drive, the role will be much more focused on people & culture ensuring the head office culture and ways of working are translated & embedded to this satellite role. HR as a function is still evolving, and you will play a pivotal in supporting future HR initiatives. Yes there is an operational element to this role and your pragmatic approach to this is paramount, however there will be a very real opportunity for strategic projects that will help shape the future of the business.

Who are they looking for?

You are a pragmatic, down to earth, interpersonally strong character. Robust in your ability to initially work alone in a stand alone satellite office; (you will need to travel to their Southern site to imbibe the culture) you will have appropriate previous HR expertise preferably from within a fast paced, commercial, customer service focused environment. You are a self-starter, solutions focused, know what good HR looks like, and particularly excel as a savvy stakeholder manager.
