Description

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for researching best practice, supporting design, development and implementation to deliver key development initiatives i.e. management development, performance management and high potential development programmes
* Work with the HR Manager to develop a Learning & Development framework that improves performance and capability, driving employee engagement and retention
* Ensure that learning is delivered in a way that incorporates different learning approaches from digital execution, classroom based training and basic communication
* Strong collaboration with Divisional L&D Specialists, Early Careers Talent Specialist, HR Manager and line managers to support them in identifying learning needs through to effective execution and implementation
* Specifically develop a solution for the front line manager population to up-skill entry level managers and supervisors to provide the capability to fulfil their managerial responsibilities effectively
* Develop and grow competences across managers and leaders from entry level through to mid/senior management to meet business expectations
* To develop and manage a preferred supplier list for external training providers to ensure that all training requirements can be met to a high standard and in a timely manner. Produce training data and reports as required by the business
* Develop related HR policies and processes based on corporate and operational requirements, in accordance with the respective employment legislation


Profile

You will be:

* Educated to Degree level or equivalent
* At least 5 years of experience delivering learning and development solutions within a global organisation.
* Operational training experience. Must be able to develop and deliver training modules for common business competencies
* In-depth understanding of learning and development practices and experience of multiple delivery mechanisms
* High degree of interpersonal and human relations skills. Must be able to collaborate with and consult with a wide range of people across the business
* Self-managing individual, capable of working autonomously
* A flexible and pro-active approach to cope with constantly changing environment and priorities
* Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
* Ability to influence motivate and engage business leaders to consider proposed learning and development strategies
* Strong project management skills and the ability to plan and execute key milestones
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
