This new organisation brings together the free services delivered by the Money Advice Service, The Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise. We are an Arms-Length organisation, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, with a joint commitment to ensuring that people have access and guidance to the information they need to make effective financial decisions over their lifetime.

As part of this exciting journey, there are now two permanent HR Business Partner opportunities available within the People, Culture and Skills team in London.

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving forward organisational performance through your designated directorates. You will be a trusted advisor to the Directors on all aspects of their business plans, ensuring all people implications are considered and opportunities are maximised, positively challenging decisions when needed.

You will be a seasoned change agent, expertly coaching leaders on organisational design and development, in hand with providing robust employee relations advice and cultivating a high-performance culture. With support from your HR colleagues in the People, Culture and Skills team, you will take accountability for innovative resource planning and leadership development, whilst driving organisation wide objectives including effective performance and absence management.  

Working in cohesion with your Director and their senior management team, you will co-create and implement a directorate people plan to support the achievement of key areas such as; succession planning, reward management, high employee engagement and attracting the right talent into the organisation; all with significant consideration to diversity and inclusion, wellbeing and empowering people to be at their best.

What you'll need to succeed 

  • You will currently be working in an HR Business Partner role, ideally within the Public sector, which showcases both your operational and strategic strengths

  • You will demonstrate sound technical knowledge, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior managers on HR/People matters, quickly being able to establish yourself as a trusted advisor

  • A proven track record of using HR as a tool for driving culture change, advocating and capturing how it grows an inclusive and engaged community within the workplace 

  • Astute commercial awareness with the ability to exercise sound judgement, anticipate issues and create innovative solutions

  • Must be CIPD accredited or studying towards CIPD accreditation
