Our client's HR team is under new leadership and the Group HRD is committed to building a best in class HR team to support the business and drive success. With over 40 companies in the group, they are expanding the team and are looking for two proactive HR professionals to provide a seamless and efficient HR service. You will provide comprehensive, pragmatic support for the managers and employees, advising on a range of employee relations issues and taking an active role in supporting, coaching and facilitating in all areas within an HR generalist function. With excellent attention to detail, you will also assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate details are submitted to the managed payroll supplier. Staying abreast of HR best practice is an essential part of the role, as you will contribute to the roll out of continuous improvement projects and deal with a variety of HR queries, including maternity / paternity issues, flexible working, probationary periods, attendance and performance management and disciplinary and redundancy situations.

CIPD qualified to Level 5, your specific experience should include wide-ranging aspects of employee relations, coordination of payroll processes, employment law and recruitment and selection. The busy nature of these roles require exceptional organisation skills coupled with the ability to work effectively under pressure without compromising on quality. Good IT skills and competence in computerised personnel database systems are essential. You must also have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice, with the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be confident when dealing with people at all levels through your ability to influence and effectively communicate, together with your proficiency to build effective working relationships, each of which will support you being successful in these exciting HR opportunities.
