Salary: CSS Scale 7/8, points 16 - 20 i.e. £26,525 - £30,603 per annum

Are you a HR professional looking for progression or an experienced HR Officer who is interested in a new challenge?

Can you demonstrate experience of building effective working relationships with managers, advising on all aspects of HR, and operating with a high level of independence?

You will be responsible for a full range of HR casework and the responsibility for overseeing the recruitment function; supporting managers to deal with staffing issues effectively and implementing process improvements to enhance the service we provide. You will need to be able to act as champion of good HR practice.  You will need to be able to step straight into a busy team, and be adaptable and comfortable in responding to competing demands.

Qualifications/experience required:

  • Experience working in an educational environment or for an organisation with high levels of compliance and safeguarding would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • CIPD Qualified (Preferable)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Flexible approach and the ability to work to deadlines
