Senior HR Advisor: Permanent: Stevenage: £35,000 + Benefits

Brief
Our national Business Services client are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Senior HR Advisor to be based out of their Stevenage branch.

The organisation
First established in 1989, our client is an award-winning organisation who prides themselves on delivering leading solutions to the hospitality industry.

The role
The Senior HR Advisor will work in a stand-alone position reporting into the MD with a dotted line to the remote Head of HR. As Senior HR Advisor you will work in a true generalist capacity supporting circa 120 employees, both office and field based, picking up all elements of HR from managing employee relations issues/casework to recruitment, implementing policies and procedures and general HR administration as well as the following:

* Providing timely and efficient advice in relation to any employee relations issues, terms and conditions of service, policies and procedures.
* Delivering inductions to new starters, updating and maintaining starter / leaver information as required
* Accurately updating sickness and attendance records, using the Bradford Factor system to identify and improve absence levels
* MI reporting as required
* Undertake HR projects when required.

The candidate
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified to Level 5 or above and will have proven experience of working in a generalist HR capacity with familiarity of working in a stand-alone role.
Strong employment law knowledge is required as well as hand on experience of managing employee relations issues/casework.
The Senior HR Advisor will be a competent and confident communicator (written and verbal) with strong numeracy and IT, Microsoft Office skills and the ability to prioritise their own workload, work autonomously on their own initiative and deal with sensitive information in the most confidential and tactful manner
