Job Details
Have you got what it takes? Age Cymru Gwent is looking for enthusiastic individuals with relevant skills and experience to join our board and help steer the charity’s future development in an ever tougher funding climate.
We would welcome applications from those with expertise or experience in the legal profession, finance or have been working with carers of older people, or have been a primary carer themselves.
For the last 40 years we have worked across the local authorities of Gwent providing first-class services to over 50’s. We work with older people from all walks of life helping them to remain independent. Our Trustees contribute actively to the Board by giving strategic direction; setting overall policy; defining goals and setting targets; evaluating performance; ensuring the charity’s effective and efficient administration and financial stability.
Joining the board provides a great opportunity to help make a real difference to older people and their carers in Gwent and to influence decisions which could make later life better.
