HR Business Partner / HR Manager - High Profile Manufacturing Company

Your new role
A key member of the leadership team you will be a commercial HR partner to the business, driving continuous improvement strategies, change initiative and employee engagement. A seasoned HR generalist you will be responsible for the current HR administration and recruitment team, alongside the ongoing development and management of all HR procedures and policies.
You will lead internal coaching and mentoring to develop first line managers, their teams and support staff with all HR related activity; including all employee relation activity, performance review, grievance procedures, disciplinary, recruitment and succession planning.
You will be responsible for all confidential and sensitive HR data, maintaining documents for all employees ensuring all data complies with GDPR. You will support senior line managers to create and deliver training budgets including sourcing training providers.
Work alongside senior stakeholders to plan organisational change in providing leadership on the people aspect, defining and embedding the Company's mission, purpose and values.
Drive forward employee engagement and the employee brand. Update key stakeholders and first line managers in HR related topics and subsequent advice.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for an engineering/manufacturing organisation in a HR Manager or HR Business Partner capacity.
Proven experience of a unionised background.
A strong HR generalist background with a good level of understanding in employment law. Experience of managing major change projects
Experience of culture change projects
A talented coach and mentor for all HR related areas
A talented delegator and man-manager
You will be adept in planning and organisation skills and have the proven ability to meet time sensitive deadline lines.
A talented communicator an influencer you will be the senior point of contact for all HR related issues.
You will be a driven and an extremely self-motivated individual who can work with minimum supervision.
