The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service that’s dedicated to the nuclear industry. As a Digital Learning Advisor, you’ll further our people’s capabilities by introducing innovative learning programmes that support all staff in a specialised police environment.

As part of our Corporate Learning & Development Department, you’ll ensure our staff are – and remain – able to carry out their role in providing an efficient, effective and quality service. In this exciting and challenging role, you’ll be responsible for the provision of digital learning, which will be used to support both Police Officers and Staff including Firearms specific learning programmes. You’ll also enable development opportunities and advisory for the wider force through presentations an ever-expanding number of forms. This includes creating and procuring original, dynamic and effective learning packages that respond to the annual training requirements, all in line with the College of Policing guidelines.

You are creative and able to inspire a variety of learners through the utilisation of trending delivery methods and best practice. You think visually and stay ahead of the game with developments in technology and digital media. You maintain a strong foundation in learning and development and a dedication to your own continuous professional development. You are empathetic to your audience and work in accordance with their needs, ensuring learning content is user focussed and designed to engage and challenge.

This is a chance to work with a forward-looking force that’s keen to set the standard for the sector. Importantly, you have excellent knowledge of, and be highly skilled in, the use of multimedia production applications, including eLearning authoring tools, design and video production.
You’re also someone who constantly pushes the boundaries of digital learning, identifying new styles and solutions in areas such as gamification and augmented reality. With many demanding deadlines, it’s vital that you can plan and prioritise your own workload.
