Are you a focused interim ER Specialist (preferably with some willingness to pick up other stuff if possible?)
As a guide, here are some of the ER topics.
Day to day management of ER cases as they come in (reactive). Volume may rise and fall.
Identification of other potential ER cases (proactive). For example, looking at absences and picking up cases which have been allowed to drift.
Directing and supporting line managers in how to handle cases and sitting in on formal/informal meetings where needed
Updating policies and procedures in the ER space e.g. disciplinary, grievance, absence, poor performance, probation, recruitment practices etc.
Educating line managers - perhaps the development of training solutions to improve line manager knowledge and skills
Some other topics outside ER could include - Support project to review and update all Job Descriptions, Generalist support.
