Interim ER Specialist

This is a challenging and varied role to join a successful West Midlands organisation as an operationally focused ER professional. You will be working alongside HR peers with specific responsibility for a relatively small redundancy project.

You will have responsibility for the following, supporting line managers across the country as they deal with this redundancy project.

* Delivering redundancy communications clearly, concisely and with empathy.
* Taking a lead with 1-2-1 redundancy consultations and all associated administration
* Guiding managers and staff at all levels through the process.

This is a business not used to redundancies and whilst the numbers impacted are relatively small it will have a significant impact on the business. We are therefore looking for HR professionals with

* Experience of running redundancy projects and an understanding of the need for calm and decisive communication and decision making.
* The confidence to work independently when in the field.
* Credibility in a non-unionised but blue collar environment.

We are looking for individuals able to start immediately (end of October at the latest) and able to commit to a 2 month project. It is a project that will require national travel and during the project will likely include nights away from home during the week

Salary £38-40000 + travel expenses (ideally you will have your own car)
