This company has a new MD and he is going to be shaking things up a bit. Some of the change is clear, some of it unknown, but what we do know is that change is always difficult, and it throws up all sorts of ER issues, so never has HR been so important.

You'll be the ER Specialist, supporting a Senior HR Manager, as new initiatives are introduced and changes rolled out. You'll deal with the basic through to the complex, giving sound advice, investigate causes, mediate situations and coach managers to recognise potential issues.

As well as utilising all your ER expertise, you'll also get to lead on other projects, pulling on some of your more generalist experience in your toolkit - helping develop talent management, business partnering, engagement, recruitment and managing some BAU.

You'll come from a manufacturing environment ideally, with as much experience of working with colleagues on the shop floor as senior management. You'll bring some great HR foundations - both technically and practically, and have supporting organisations through periods of change. You'll need to be confident and credible, able to influence and impact.

This role is being offered as a 12 month contract, with a retention bonus on completion. It can also be a 4 day per week role if you're looking for that little bit of work/life balance.
