Change can be scary.

But it can also be brilliant.

Some people aren't sure how to feel when the prospect of change is looming.

And this is when good HR is a REALLY important.

This business is about to go through some change. Some of it is clear, some of it is unknown. But what they do know is that they need a very capable pair of HR hands to support them for the next 12 months as they go through it.

If you're a brilliant HR Generalist, this role will give you the chance to pull everything out of your HR toolkit - particularly your ER expertise - change throws up all sorts of ER issues, from the basic to the complex that they'll need you to be on hand to manage.

You'll also get to work on other projects - developing talent management, engagement, recruitment, as well as being able to roll your operational sleeves up and manage some BAU.

There's a new MD at the helm - he's got a fresh pair of eyes, new ideas, and big shoes to fill, so he's definitely going to need you to help him settle into the business, share ideas and support new initiatives.

You'll come from a manufacturing environment ideally, with as much experience of working with colleagues on the shop floor as senior management. You'll have supporting organisations through periods of change, be confident and credible, able to influence and impact.

This role is being offered as a 12 month contract, with a retention bonus on completion. They will also consider a 4 day week - great if you're looking for a little bit of balance in your life!
