A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent Learning and development E-learning officer in the learning and development team at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic E-learning officer to contribute to the effective functioning of the Learning and Development team at a particularly busy time. You will take the lead in managing the data on SSAFA’s e-Learning platform (Moodle) and volunteer database. As well as supporting the delivery of training to our volunteer network, you will also contribute to improving the learning and development experience for both volunteers and employees. In addition, you will take the lead in the delivery of specific Learning and Development projects.

You will be organised, with the high level of attention to detail. You will have experience as the first point of contact for a busy department providing high quality customer service, helping to troubleshoot any issues and escalating any complex queries.

Requirements

To carry out this role successfully you will have demonstrable experience of managing an e-learning platform (Moodle), and the ability to work in a busy environment while maintaining a professional and welcoming attitude.

You will be IT literate with strong analytical skills and be confident when using MS Office and other databases. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop rapport with a wide range of clients and customers.

You will have experience of producing reports from databases in a manner that is easily understood by the audience.
