 Our client has an exceptional opportunity for an HR officer to work for a specialist sports college. 

They are offering a competitive salary up to £18 an hour.

This role is a 3-6-month ongoing temporary role to start immediately.

Reporting to the HR & Payroll Manager, the key responsibilities of the role is to provide high quality, effective and efficient administrative support to the HR & Payroll Manager, with the ability to work independently in a fast pace working environment.

Skills and attributes for success 

 

  • HR and Payroll Administration experience
  • An understanding of HR procedures and the value of HR support within the school environment
  • Excellent computer literacy: Microsoft Office & SIMS

 

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Experience of working within a school environment.
  • HR and payroll administration experience relevant to the post, preferably in an education setting.
  • An understanding of HR procedures and the value of HR Support within the school environment.
  • Ability to understand and work within basic HR legislation and policies relevant to role.
  • Excellent computer literacy, including good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, Internet and Databases and produce data reports.
  • Good standard of literacy & numeracy at GCSE level or equivalent.
  • CIPD qualified or willingness to work towards.
  • Motivation to work with children and young people
  • Willingness to be flexible regarding early morning starts/ late finishes as and when the need arises.
  • Current driving licence and car for travel and transport between The Upper and Lower School
