Your new role

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will be based in Portsmouth with no direct reports. Your role will develop organisation capability by designing and delivering a suite of creative learning interventions and programmes for the Training Department from team member level through to mid-manager, that meet the changing needs of the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

* Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) through collaboration with HR colleagues and stakeholders, and make recommendations for the most appropriate solution(s)
* Design and deliver creative interventions for the Training Department (aligned to behaviours) that meet the business needs and are based on learning theories using a blend of delivery mechanisms
* Where appropriate assist in identifying external training providers, managing the relationships and monitoring delivery against pre-determined criteria

What you'll need to succeed

This position will suit an adaptable, creative person who is confident communicating with people of different levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in an L&D/training role within the retail sector, but other industry backgrounds will be considered.

You must have proven experience in L&D to include design and delivery, an understanding of learning theories, concepts and principles and having worked with e-learning systems.
