Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our commercial client as they embark on their new journey to establish their HR function within their business. This is a standalone role that requires an individual to be proactive within the full employee lifecycle.

Our client is seeking an exceptionally motivated, organised individual that can roll up their sleeves to manage the function from entrance to exit. As a stand-alone HR manager, you will be responsible for company HR Administration from recruitment, new starters, holiday, sickness, absence management, but also you will be managing more senior responsibilities such as employee relations, culture and engagement. This is an exceptional opportunity to really make this role your own.

You will manage the HR system and ensure complete accuracy for HR records. Many of the organisations employees are blue collar workers, experience in this area is essential with the personality to manage challenging conversations.

You will work alongside the organisations management team to implement a commercial and professional culture throughout the company. Although stand-alone there will be support available to you should you require this for more complex case work. This role will directly report to the CFO and will be a true partner in all HR related activities.

In essence our client is seeking a robust, motivated HR professional who is organised and articulate, capable of engaging with employees and key stakeholders. That can be happy to manage the HR Administration side along with the more complex HR issues that may arise. A solid all-rounder, tough, systematic and pragmatic, you will have excellent communication skills, have the desire to run a tight ship and to be a sole HR person within a business.

What you'll get in return
A base salary of up to £45,000 plus benefits
