Permanent Part Time HR Assistant in Manchester paying up to £27k

Your new company
We are looking to recruit on a permanent basis for a Part Time HR Assistant to join an exciting new tech business in Manchester. The business have been established for approximately 5 years and are in a period of growth with a staff base now of just over 40 employees and exciting plans to grow further. This role is a new position into their structure and are recruiting on a part time basis and want to attract a candidate who is looking for between 22.5 - 26 hours per week.


Your new role
As a HR Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support for HR and service for line managers and employees with a range of information / advice The role will be a full generalist position and you will also support the Recruitment process as follows with sourcing candidates via job boards and other attraction strategies, setting up telephone / initial interviews, administer assessment centres, making sure all rooms, briefing notes and facilities are prepared to agreed deadlines, prepare offer / rejection letters, maintain records as appropriate, provide on-boarding support prior to new employee start dates, ensuring that all pre-employment requirements are met: references, eligibility to work in the UK documentation, DBS check, FCA check, proof of identity, driving licence and business insurance and other relevant payroll information. Other duties HR wise will include supporting the full employee lifecycle as follows which will include providing pre-induction day support: programme, rooms, facilities, ID badges, lockers, information to new starters, IT requirements and employee handbook, provide advice on a range of employment issues around: absence policy, holiday policy, terms and conditions, provide administrative support for the completion and analysis of the employee survey(s), support HR in managing the well-being programme: screening, health programmes and benefits, monitor key indicators within the well-being strategy and assess overall effectiveness (not yet in place but to be developed in 2020). You will also support the Learning and Development process



What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced HR candidate for this role with a couple of years experience and a candidate that has previous experience providing basic level advice to hiring managers.
The client would prefer a candidate that has started their CIPD studies and ideally would be level 5 qualified.
Any experience of using HR Information systems would be handy as the client is about to implement one.
