Senior HR Advisor - Compensation and Benefits

Your new company
Hays HR are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor, to join our Manufacturing client who are based in Blackwood. In this post the successful candidate will provide an efficient and effective Compensations and Benefits service, that meets statutory and company requirements. You will be Responsible and accountable for ensuring excellence in all aspects of HR service delivery, to include, the oversight of all payroll processing and the management of payroll and benefits for all employees within the business.

Your new role

* Oversight of all payroll processing
* Management of Payroll and Benefits for Directors, senior managers and all staff.
* Processing of expenses (in conjunction with Finance), including Company cars and fuel cards.
* Maintain pay benchmarking data, including Living Wage (in conjunction with HRM and HRD).
* Advise on and implement reward policy.
* Manage pension scheme and retirement process.

* Tax coordination (e.g. P11d) with external advisors and Finance.
* Produce Management Information (in conjunction with Finance)
* Overtime budget - Monitor and advise the SMT when required
* Manage Absence and ensure this is reported
* Legal year end returns.
* Maintain HR information systems and reporting.
* Maintain employee files and data.
* Compliance with financial audits.
* Support in the production and maintenance of organisation charts.
* Keep detailed records of changes implemented.
* Support plans and execution of structural changes.
* Support managers in the recruitment process (in particular, advising on rates of pay / salaries).
* Support manager and HR colleagues in delivering quality. inductions. Deliver elements of the induction

What you'll need to succeed

* CIPD Level 3 as a minimum
* Proven track record in managing payroll and HR in a fast paced environment
* Computer literate, with a plethora of experience in using HR systems i.e. Time & Attendance
