Job Details

6 month HR Business Partner role for a Local Authority in London. £20-£23 per hour, starting ASAP.

Your new company
You will be working as an Interim HR Business Partner, for a Local Authority in London. The role is until the end of March 2020 and will pay £20 per hour via PAYE or £23 per hour via Umbrella company.

Your new role
You will be consulting with line management and providing daily HR guidance, establishing and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and business unit managers within key client groups, alongside providing day to day guidance to drive the delivery of the business HR workforce plans.
You will use your experience, skills and knowledge to make an impact on key areas such as change management, organisational design, employee relations or other key projects and will coach and mentor managers within client groups to ensure people related issues are managed adequately. You will be expected to analyse trends and metrics the HR department, resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances adequately to ensure cases are closed at pace.
Candidates must be able to provide high level support and advice on all people related matters within a designated client group and work with overall senior management to help guide and communicate overall workforce plans.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a Council, or have experience of working in the public sector at HRBP or Senior HR Advisor level. Candidates must have experience of working within a unionised environment and be able to work in a changing and newly structured environment.
You must have the ability to interpret internal policies and apply practical solutions to people related issues and understand the role of HRBPs and the business partnering model.
You will have strong communication, leadership and coaching skills and be able to build and maintain effective working relationships.
