As recent winners of  a 2019 HPMA award this is an exciting time to join the HR team. We are focused on delivering an ambitious People Strategy to further improve the quality of our service to better enable excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

The Head of Resourcing will have overall responsibility for the delivery of the strategic resourcing elements of the Trust’s People Strategy across both the recruitment and temporary staffing functions.

Working closely with the Assistant Director of HR Operations you will take the lead on developing innovative resourcing solutions including:

  • Implementing values based recruitment

The Head of Resourcing will drive forward the delivery of our strategy and support longer term recruitment planning. You will also work closely with HR Business Partners and Trust managers to support senior recruitment across the Trust and drive forward the Trust’s ambition of being an employer of choice. You will ensure that the Recruitment and Temporary Staffing Teams are high performing and deliver the highest quality, efficient service to all our customers on a day to day basis with our values at the forefront. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Resourcing lead with a passion for service improvement in support of patient care. Proactive and organised, you will have substantial experience of managing and developing resourcing and recruitment in a large complex organisation and the ability to drive projects forwards whilst providing strong, visible day to day leadership to the team. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively to develop innovative and flexible solutions to challenging issues.
