Permanent HR & Training Advisor, Homebased, £30,000-£34,000

Your new company
A leading professional services organisation are looking for a HR and Training Advisor to join their team. They provide themselves as a forward thinking practical company who underpin their values.
This is a home based opportunity ideally from the Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes or Bedfordshire area. Travel is required to London, Oxford or Gloucester 1-2 days a week and overnight stays 2-3 days a month.

Your new role
As a People and Training Advisor you will report to the Group HR Manager and will be responsible for:

* Providing people and employment law advice to leaders.
* Supporting the HR Manager in delivering a range of generalist people solutions and activities and HR projects when required.
* Providing advice on performance management, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness absence.
* Organising and facilitating workshops, training and conferences.
* Managing the learning management system
* Booking and coordinating training
* Assisting with career development paths
* Keep e-learning up to date from boarding new starters
* Take the lead on organising and communicating the development programmes
* Updating the intranet and all reward and benefits.
* Running HR and training reports.

What you'll need to succeed
You must:

* Have experience as a HR Advisor and ideally have had some involvement in coordinating L+D activities.
* Have experience dealing with disciplinaries and grievances
* Experience writing policies and ideally writing training modules.
* Ideally qualified Level 3 CIPD or equivalent
