HR Manager based in Ilford £35/40K

Your new company
A growing, successful family run organisation based in Ilford requires a HR Manager. This is a new position that has been created to support the growth of the business and manage the existing HR team. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of the people plan.

Your new role

* Leading and directing the human resource team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business
* Employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness
* Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement
* Performance management: coaching managers on performance management issues and processes
* Learning and development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams
* Training: Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement
* Recruitment and retention: managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns
* Reward advice and supporting employees on company benefits
* Policy and procedures implementation of new HR policies, procedures and processes

What you'll need to succeed
You will have demonstrable experience within a HR function at a senior level. Degree or CIPD qualified or equivalent. Experience of managing a small team is also preferred as well as working in a regulated environment. Knowledge of safeguarding is also essential.
