The HR Department provides a professional support service to employees of the Central University. Our committed team undertakes a wealth of activities in relation to employee relations, payroll, pensions, recruitment and organisational and staff development.

The Organisational & Staff Development (OSD) team support organisational, team and individual learning and change that underpins our strategic aims. This is achieved by activities such as the development and delivery of learning programmes, supporting appraisal, and by facilitating wellbeing and engagement initiatives.

We are seeking a Training Officer (IT and Systems) who will play a key role in the OSD team and deliver a variety of IT related training and support. You will have specific responsibility for the design, delivery, and evaluation of corporate business systems training; the design and development of a range of IT development materials (for example user guides and eLearning); working closely with the ITDS department to support the implementation of IT systems; and provide expert support and advice across the University.

Our current corporate business systems include Unit4 Business World, Kinetic, and Microsoft Dynamics. Previous experience of these would be an advantage but is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided for the successful candidate.

To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate a successful track record of designing and delivering a variety of development activities including face to face workshops and eLearning. You will be someone with the ability to plan and deliver projects, be a confident communicator able to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and have excellent attention to detail.
