Head of HR Business Partnering, salary circa 65-72k  location: Victoria, London 

An exciting new permanent opportunity has arisen to join the Girls Day School Trust as their Head of HR Business Partnering. We are the UK’s leading family of independent girls schools, with the ethos that as well as exceptional teaching, we develop the skills and character to prepare them for the future and to give them confidence beyond the curriculum.

Reporting into the HR Director and as a member of the HR Leadership team you will contribute to the design and implementation of an effective HR strategy, provide a credible and comprehensive HR support to our schools and lead the HR Business Partner team in providing a high quality customer focussed service.

We are seeking an experienced, pro-active HR professional, with a well developed coaching style , sound knowledge of case law and effective project management skills. A keen interest in keeping abreast of HR best practice and innovation is key, as we strive to ensure the GDST has excellent people management standards and a high level of employee engagement.

The successful individual will demonstrate a strategic, flexible approach, combined with a pragmatic and positive mindset. Also key will be a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.  An interest in the value of HR metrics and commercial acumen are also essential.
