Our client near Maidenhead is a very successful and well respected global pharmaceutical company.


Description

As a member of People team, the HR Business Partner - Pharma you will be responsible for supporting the organisation in achieving success for sales, growth and people engagement, partnering with the business to maximise organisational performance through people interventions and programmes and in delivering high value HR services to the UKIE.

You will be responsible for providing tactical HR advice and coaching to your allocated key stakeholders in the UKIE leadership team and for supporting the achievement of specific people and business objectives. This is done by enabling the organisation to handle internal and external changes and supporting and counselling on organisational development and ensuring talent development and acquisition. You will ensure implementation and application of agreed upon global HR programs and policies and represent the needs of the business in the Global People community.

Human Resources Management:

* Provide HR expertise across all areas of HR, act as an HR Business Partner to assigned areas and ensure that HR delivery adds value to the business and that all company policies are communicated appropriately.

Recruitment and Talent Planning:

* Ensure good practice and consistency is applied in respect of our recruitment and talent processes. Support the business to identify, attract and recruit talent into organisation. Use best in class tools to support this e.g. competency models, 360, psychometrics, development centres, mentoring and coaching. Support the rest of the people team with regards to recruitment and talent.

Employee Motivation & Relations:

* Design initiatives to support the business in ensuring high levels of actively engaged and motivated people with a positive relationship to our organisation. Support and coach Line Managers in the resolution and handling of ER matters, including handling of grievances, disciplinaries, long term sickness issues etc.

Compensation and Benefits:

* To administer and manage the Comp & Bens package - including pensions, long service, salary exchange etc. To provide salary review data and benefit information for external benchmarking activities and provide support to the annual salary process internally. Complete salary and benefit survey submissions.

Systems and Project Management:

* Super-user for on-line HR systems e.g. SAP, GLOBE, eDays. Ensure relevant training modules are rolled out in a timely manner and to all appropriate employees.
* Super-user for eQuality within the HR Department - responsible for entering/maintaining HR processes and procedures onto the database.
* To administer and manage the annual performance management system, including salary review- ensuring employees and managers are sufficiently trained and PDDs are carried out professionally and add value.
* To support in the delivery and maintenance of the competency framework.

HR Projects

* Your key project in 2020 will be the 'team build' for a completely new part of the business.


Profile

* You will have gained strong experience at HRBP level, ideally with an emphasis on operational and tactical Business Partnering.
* Strong HR experience within the Pharma industry is essential.
* Good knowledge and understanding of employment legislation.
* Well versed in managing performance.
* You have gained solid experience in managing change and acting as a change agent.
* Competency based interviewing and assessment skills required.
* Understanding of talent processes.
* Organisational agility.
* Knowledge and experience of HR systems beneficial.
* CIPD qualification.
* Ensures accountability.
* You use data for decision making and work with an analytical, systematic and proactive can-do approach.
* In combination with your HR and business understanding, you can turn complicated challenges into smart and practical outcomes.
* Your excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills enable you to build strong relations and trust to a great number of stakeholders of all levels in a complex and diversified organisation.
* You will be collaborative and results-oriented with great analytical abilities, motivational skills and a cross functional mindset.

As the company is on a major HR transformation journey, experience of global HR transformation is an advantage.


Job Offer

This HR Business Partner role offers the following:

* 10% company bonus.
* Pension scheme - 5% employee, 10% employer.
* 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays, rising to a maximum of 28 days.
