Your new company
A well established, successful firm that is expanding requires a HR Assistant on a permanent to support the HR Manager
Your new role
You will be responsible for the administration of new starters and leavers, minute-taking in meetings, assisting with the recruitment process, including arranging interviews, advertising roles and collation of applications, liaising with Managers in regards to recruitment and internal contract changes, processing payroll documentation, maintaining the upkeep of the HR database, and providing general support to the HR Manager and Partners on ad hoc projects.
* Co-ordinate and administer the recruitment process ensuring an excellent candidate experience
* Assist with new starter onboarding process, in conjunction with the HR Manager, Payroll and Office Management teams
* Liaise with the Payroll team in ensuring correct payments are processed on time for all employees
* Assist with the reward and benefits administration
* Support the HR Manager with general HR administration, data analysis and periodic reporting Administer the leavers process, including exit interview trend analysis
* Ensure Cascade Go (People System) is kept up to date and contains accurate information and is managed in accordance with the retention of information policy and GDPR requirements.
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all policies and their practical application in order to provide advice and support to all staff as appropriate
* Support L&D activities in conjunction with the co-ordinator
* Undertake role related projects as and when required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have a desire to progress a career within HR. You will ideally be qualified CIPD (Level 3 or above) or be working towards and gaining CIPD qualification
You will have experience of working in a HR Administration role within a professional services environment. Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level is essential and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to work effectively under pressure, prioritise work and collate information to be presented clearly. You will be a effective team player with the ability to work well using your own initiative
