Description

As the HR Manager you will lead a small team of HR Advisers, whilst leading from the front, getting your sleeves rolled up by partnering with the stakeholders within your specific business area. You will also be required to take a lead on organisational-wide HR strategic initiatives and projects and change experience is therefore essential.


Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need to be available ASAP and ideally have the following experience:

* Generalist HR experience working as a HR Manager in a large, complex and unionised organisation;
* Previously lead on implementation of workforce change, including workforce redesign and re-organisations
* A track record of leading a small HR team
* Worked in Education and/or NHS - ideal
* Knowledge of the HR processes and procedures associated with clinical academic staff - ideal
* CIPD Level 7 or equivalent - essential

You will ideally be able to start before Christmas and able to work 4 days per week.


Job Offer

This is initially an interim role for 6 month fixed-term contract paying £40,000 - £50,000pa - pro rata into 4 days + great benefits
