A leading global manufacturing business based in London is looking for a Senior Global Reward Manager to join their wider Human Resources and Personnel team.


Description

The Senior Global Reward Manager will be part of the HR leadership team and represent the HR function ensuring alignment of the HR Mission and values within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

* Support the implementation of a new grading and job evaluation system and assume full accountability for its' operational management and on-going development once implemented.



* Develop and maintain pay bands for our larger countries of operation, ensuring our basic salary framework is market competitive, yet affordable. Develop performance pay progression opportunities aligned with personal development plans. Harmonizing Reward & Benefits practices globally, where appropriate.



* Be the Reward and Benefits Subject Matter Expert for the business, advising and supporting the HRD's and leadership teams as required on all matters relating to reward. Participate in initiatives (e.g. restructuring exercises) that require reward input and partner the HR teams accordingly. Provide reports, dashboards and insights when required. Work closely with internal comms team to ensure effective communication of the Reward programme.





* Ensure the Reward programme (both cash compensation and employee benefits) is fit for purpose, ensuring market competitiveness, and enables high levels of engagement with our employees. Work with regional HRD's to understand requirements regarding the reward programmes in each country and support proposal development and implementation as required.



* Manage the Reward operations, including taking the lead on the global pay review, Executive bonus scheme and sales incentive plan design, and gender pay reporting in the UK. Help manage the expatriate contracts and insured benefits. Work closely with the HR Systems advisor to enable efficiencies in the operation and reward process improvements.



* Manage the UK employee benefits program. Own the relationship with the Master Pension Trust provider and ensure effective governance of the UK pension schemes. Lead on all operational activities related to insured benefits - e.g. PMI and Life assurance scheme annual renewals.



* Conduct research to better understand the requirements of non-UK countries as regards new employee benefits: assess feasibility, support the development and implementation of new employee benefit initiatives.


Profile

Requirements for the Senior Global Reward Manager in London:



* Strong reward and benefits professional with experience of managing reward and benefit programmes in a multi-national environment.





* Well-developed technical capability across the full reward and benefits discipline.





* Working knowledge of UK pensions.





* A true business partner with strong relationship, influencing and networking skills. Ability to present to senior stakeholders.





* Ability to operate as a stand-alone professional, managing competing demands and a multifarious workload encapsulating project delivery and managing the operation.





* Broad experience of working with senior HR leadership teams and supporting the broader HR agenda.





* Attention to detail but with the ability to "roll-up" the detail into clear and concise summary. Be able to analyse complex information and communicate findings clearly and effectively.





* Fluent in English, other languages a plus.
