Our client is a Membership Organisation based in the City


Description

The key duties for this role include:

* Deputising for the Director of Human Resources in their absence

* Managing a small team, looking after learning & development, payroll and performance management

* Assisting the Director of HR in the modernisation of people processes, engaging senior management in the management of people change

* Initiating and support a continuous management development programme

* Leading on learning and development, payroll, recognition and the performance evaluation system.

* Develop, maintain and constantly review the staff induction process

* Develop and maintain a Learning and Development Strategy aligned to the organisation's current and future needs and initiate talent management strategies to develop future leaders. Develop the annual learning and development programme in line with strategic, departments, team and individual requirements.

* Managing the staff recognition process in line with the organisation's values

* Overseeing the process for workers and DBS checks.

* Managing ER issues

* Developing relevant metrics that quantify the added value to the organisation of the HR function and meet the monthly reporting requirement to senior managers.
* Managing the learning and development budget.


Profile

We're looking for a Head of HR Operations with the following skills & experience:

* Substantial HR experience at a senior level





* Full membership of the CIPD





* Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law





* In-depth understanding of and commitment to diversity and equality issues





* Experience of managing HR projects from inception to completion





* Experience of policy and procedure development





* Strong experience of leading & managing a learning & development function including management development, talent management strategies and budget management


Job Offer

Permanent contract, salary £60-65,000 dependant on experience
