Job Details

A global professional services organsiation based in Canary Wharf.


Description

* Collaborates with the L&D Management and other key stakeholders, to ensure successful and timely delivery of Learning and Development training initiatives. Collaborates specifically with the EMEA and APAC stakeholders sharing information about L&D training plans and initiatives, and capture training needs identified. Brings ideas and recommendations to the L&D management team for discussion and planning purposes.





* Participates in kick off project calls as necessary to understand the scope of new training requests. Assigns resources, transfers accountability for delivery of request and attendance at future project calls.





* Responsible for the following Curriculums: Digital, New Hire and Foundational, Compliance, Soft Skills and Peer to Peer/Informational Learning. Provides input through research and knowledge into the design of new training content. Reviews training content drafts as created by the Learning Designers and provides suggestions and changes to ensure the training is aligned to the company's practices and is relevant to the BGRS business. Incorporates the use of best practices to support the design of training content and materials (i.e. online materials and resources).





* Responsible for the execution of the Learning Retention strategy to ensure a consistent approach and momentum in the production of learning retention materials across all Curriculums.





* Responsible for BizLibrary/Online training strategy and recorded training library.





* Responsible for all facets of people management for direct reports (3 Learning Designers) including regular coaching and feedback sessions, performance development plans and goal setting to align with department and organizational priorities. Contributes to performance feedback for Learning Coordinator performance review and ongoing development.





* Proactively seeks new ways to manage training delivery, tracking, and performance against learning metrics and business KPIs.





* Leverages strong project management skills to be able to continually prioritize training initiatives/projects and resource allocation. Allocates to appropriate Learning Designer and holds them accountable from time of allocation to completion. Keeps up to date metrics on team workload and capacity planning and demonstrates agility when needing to re-prioritize workload to accommodate high priority business needs.





* Responsible for L&D global communications such as Talent News, Booster Emails.





* Identifies and recommends opportunities for enhancing department processes, procedures, training content and methodology and curriculums.





* Remains current with the Training Industry including trends, methods and learning strategies





* Other tasks, such as training delivery and projects as required.


Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, HR, or Business Management





* Training Designations beneficial: CIPD, ATD International, Blanchard, Achieve Global etc.





* Deep experience with learning and development with responsibility for creation and implementation of internal employee training programs (including needs assessments, solution design, program effectiveness metrics)





* Previous global training development and delivery experience preferred





* Extensive experience managing projects and large-scale organization wide initiatives in employee training/talent management





* Recent people management experience





* Ideally remote team management experience
