A great opportunity to take a number 2 role to the Head of HR in this market leading business. You'll be the go to person for all elements of operational HR as well as a key contributor to future HR direction. Enjoying a positive work culture, a commercial environment that provides you with both the support and sophistication to get things done and the autonomy to create the right solution for your stakeholders.

You'll partner with management teams and their diverse populations across the business. It's a role that gives variety, you'll balance the day to day operational elements e.g. overseeing case management, ensuring HR policy and process is fit for purpose and being applied appropriately etc with the strategic; defining HR plans that will impact across the entire business, particularly in the areas of ER, L&D, Recruitment and Reward

You won't be tied to a desk, sat in some HR ivory tower. There is no CoE here so it's a great platform to show your breadth and depth of HR knowledge and experience. You will be spending time with your management teams and stakeholders developing relationships with talented people, getting to really understand them and their businesses so that you can come up with people strategies that really make a difference.

It's a commercial and rapidly changing environment, one that values new ways of thinking and continuous improvement. If you enjoy taking on business challenges and finding new ways to get results, this is an ideal environment.

You'll be an experienced BP with the ability to thrive in a demanding and complex organisation that has a mix of staff populations. Those that come from people intensive, commercial, multisite operations (think the sort of structures that underpin retail, facilities management, built environment, hospitality) are likely to be well suited. Solid academic and professional credentials will underpin your experience alongside a solid understanding of legislation, You'll be a strong operational HR lead as well as a talented people developer with a track record in driving performance through talent management and coaching initiatives.
