McKenzie Shaw has been retained to identify and recruit an accomplished individual to take charge of the HR function. This is a senior leadership position with two direct reports and a broader remit to be involved with line managers and directors across pretty much every other function within the business.

As well as requiring your leadership in all HR matters, you will also be part of the broader senior commercial team, providing expertise and advice to line management on a whole range of HR related topics including, but not exclusively;

. Recruitment.

. Training.

. Employment Law

. Data Protection / GDPR ( via a specialist employee ).

. Employee Relations and remuneration.

. Disciplinary and Grievances.

. Succession Planning.

You should ideally be CIPD qualified, although personal ability and experience will be prized more so than paper qualifications. It is however essential that you are a energetic and proactive, and able to keep up speed with an organisation that never sleeps. Equally you should be inventive in your approach to problem solving, and have evidence of having added real value to the organisations for which you have previously been employed.

The role will require attendance in the Central London offices three days each week, and the remainder of the job holder’s time will be spent either at home or at the various field based offices, so there will be a considerable amount of driving involved with this position. You should ideally live within the south east region - North London/Home Counties with easy access to Central London.

Remuneration

In return for your dedication and expertise our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £42,701 to £45,290 depending on your previous experience and level of seniority. There is also a company car with this position. The company operates flexi working hours and actively promotes life / work balance to all its employees.
