About us
The City of London Corporation is the governing body of the Square Mile dedicated to a vibrant and thriving City, supporting a diverse and sustainable London within a globally-successful UK. We are introducing a new operating model to further build competence and capability to deliver our Corporate Plan. We recognise that our people, and our culture are critical to our success. In this role will lead and shape a wide range of organisational development projects that will enhance our ability to deliver excellence, creativity and impact through our people.
The role
Working collaboratively with leaders, managers, HR business partners and other senior colleagues, you’ll play an influential role in a wide range of strategic organisational development projects. In particular, you will take the lead on programmes that enhance our leadership and management capabilities, succession planning, and talent management.
You will also design and deliver organisational development and learning projects that support cultural change. Planning and managing areas of work that relate to our target operating model will be key, and you will advise on the development of policies, procedures and systems from a people perspective.
About you
Extensive experience of successfully designing and delivering a broad spectrum of organisational development and learning interventions, projects and programmes of work is essential. An ability to work in a business partnership role and facilitate change within a complex organisation is key to success. Your exceptional powers of communication and influence will be matched by practical experience of employee engagement, and strong data analysis skills. You’ll also need experience of designing and delivering leadership, management development and coaching programmes at a variety of levels. Relevant professional qualifications such as membership of the CIPD and Level 5 Coaching would be an advantage.
