New Interim role Leeds base but largely WFH on 4 or 5 day a week basis

.Role / person outline

Ideally, this person will need to understand workforce systems, how they interlink with one another and the logical order to change things on the systems. This person will completely transform the workforce systems, implementing new processes and policies working in conjunction with the teams to do so. For example, most roles need to have some level of professional registration logged on the learning management system, but there are no current policies or processes to outline what that is for each individual role so we can't report accurately. This person will need to engage with the teams to outline what that requirement is and then create a process / policy around that as well as making sure it is then implemented on each relevant workforce system in the right order. This is just one example of changes that need to be made. Stakeholder management is key to this role and they will need to be able to influence and communicate with others well as this is unlikely to be viewed as high-priority work for some clinical teams. This person will need to build processes and write policies around the systems that will be robust and have longevity to sustain the system and enable the workforce team to do their roles effectively in the longer-term.

The things we would ideally be looking for are: - Experience with workforce systems. - ESR experience would be ideal but not essential. - Ability to manage a project from start to finish. - Experience with or knowledge of change principles i.e. Agile methodology or improvement methodology. - Being a change agent, using soft skills to influence and gain buy in from stakeholders as well as technical skills in equal proportion to enable improvements in processes and systems. - Breadth of experience in understanding the interplay between systems and how they interconnect. - Written policies or procedures / made quality improvements to the way things work.
