Job Details
As the Reward Manager, you will provide specialist reward and remuneration advice and guidance across the University, working with all levels of stakeholders, including Executive level.
A key part of the role will be to develop reward strategies and policies, in hand with leading reward related projects and supporting annual activities, such as salary reviews. To enable the university to remain an employer of choice, you will use your expert market knowledge, salary benchmarking practices and pay bargaining, to ensure total packages are competitive and top talent in the organisation is retained and developed. Furthermore, you will take ownership for job evaluation (HAY), reward related data analysis/reporting and the development of job families.
What you'll need to succeed
* A CIPD qualification with substantial experience working in a Reward role (preferably in a complex, public sector environment)
* Experience formulating reward strategies, policies and leading reward and remuneration related projects
* Strong pensions knowledge and experience managing external contracts
* Experience contributing to Remuneration Committees, including the preparation of papers
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the aptitude to influence at a senior level, as well as supporting union negotiations
