Head of HR required for a leading financial services organisation based in Fleet, Hampshire

CHL Mortgages are a leading SME financial services organisation based in Fleet, Hampshire. An exceptional brand-new opportunity for a Head of HR has arisen to join their team enabling the organisation to drive through their HR agenda.

The role itself reports directly to the COO and has operational responsibility for a HR Advisor and HR Coordinator.

Within this role you will have management and oversight of HR support across the business, including recruitment, pay and remuneration, salary benchmarking, pensions and benefits administration and employee relations. Within your remit you will have key involvement in strategic development plans and projects to enable the organisation to reach their organisational goals.

As well as developing and mentoring the HR team you will have responsibility for talent management and succession planning in order to build on retention, reward and recognition within the business.

This role will partner directly with the COO in relation to developing effective communication and engagement strategies. You will develop and policies and procedures ensuring best practice at all times in line with current employment law. Responsibility for review administration and application of the Behaviour and Competency Scheme.

CHL Mortgages are seeking a suitably qualified HR professional with previous leadership experience gained at a senior level within either the financial services or a regulated arena. You will have previous experience of leading a team and partnering at board level along with a solid HR generalist portfolio of experience and involvement of developing and contributing to business strategy.
