Opportunity for a L&D Advisor / HR Advisor to join a busy HR function to manage the L&D & support HR

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced L&D Advisor or HR Advisor with skills in L&D to join a busy HR department providing a comprehensive Learning & Development Service.
You will be working handling a variety of Learning & Development activities including :-

* Overseeing and coordinating the annual training plan / mandatory training
* Training needs analysis / personal development plans and qualifications
* Implementation of learning and development strategy
* Coordinating and managing the apprentice programme ensuring use of apprenticeship levy and mentoring apprentices
* Coordination and management of the Learning Management System and e-learning
* Management of training budget and engaging external training suppliers
* Design / coordination of management development programmes
* Coaching
As part of the role you will also support the Head of HR with a variety of HR research projects including Performance appraisal, Sector initiatives, COVID response, Job evaluation and support with restructures.

The role will focus on L&D Advisor for 3 days per week and then 2 days - HR Project support

Candidates
We are seeking applications from either Learning & Development Advisors or HR Advisors with solid background of Learning & Development within an organisation...
You will need to have a experiences of managing/coordinating an L&D programme of actives including :- Management development, coaching, mandatory training, apprenticeships, training plans, LMS systems, training needs analysis, performance appraisal.
As you will be working as part of a small HR team you will be required to support HR Projects and therefore an HR background can also be beneficial but not essential...
CIPD/Learning & Development qualifications desired.

This role is an initial 18 months Fixed Term Contract to start ASAP
