Edge Testing, established in 2007, has grown fast to become the UK’s largest independent software testing. Our talented workforce includes some of the UK’s premier testing thought leaders and experts, who help deliver exceptional services to clients across the telecommunications and media, financial services, utilities, retail, and public sectors. These services include managed, functional, performance and automated testing, undertaken both onsite and remotely from Edge Testing’s Glasgow and Birmingham-based Digital Test Hubs.

In 2018 Edge Testing became part of Eurofins Digital Testing, the world’s leading Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) specialists, who operate globally with test lab facilities in the UK, USA, Belgium, Poland, Sweden and Hong Kong.

The Strategic People Manager is a key hire for business and will be responsible for developing, driving and importantly, delivering our resourcing, recruitment, onboarding, organisational development, diversity and cultural strategy to ensure we have a talented and engaged consultant community to support our significant client projects.

You will be a strategic people-leader with proven strategic HR experience with a working knowledge preferably experience of a consultancy-based business. The role requires you to have significant experience in a service industry.

This role will lead on employee engagement and retention and will integrate a dynamic and inclusive people strategy – aligning the business plan to our people’s performance to make Edge Testing a diverse, inclusive and talent-led business.  You will be able to evidence strategic design and delivery in multiple areas from resourcing, recruitment, onboarding, organisational development, performance reviews and progression to team and leadership development programmes.

The successful candidate must bring extensive generalist knowledge combined with evidence of authoring and delivering people strategies. You will be commercially astute and have achieved at least Chartered Member of the CIPD, with proven experience at a senior strategic level.
