The Ministry of Justice is the strategic lead agency in the justice sector. As well as providing direction to organisations including Prisons and Probation, it also provides the expert services to the business, like Finance and Human Resources.
This is an exciting time to join the MoJ and this role involves the provision of HR services to Prisons and Probation. Both arms of the organisation are undergoing considerable change and it is a time for HR to partner the business and bring the very best combination of employee experience and effective workforce optimisation.
The SHRBP position is a strategic HR role which has a great deal of variety and requires adaptability - working to a central team but providing a service to one or more geographical stakeholders; based around the country. Leading a team of HR Business Partners and Managers to deliver a generalist HR service to Prisons and Probation this role requires a degree of resilience consistent with the unique and exceptional working environment. With a strong HR background of experience and ability to influence and manage expectations, you will take responsibility for supporting the business to deliver its people priorities in an effective and inclusive and way.
