  • To develop a forward-thinking approach to employee relations across the trust, building strong and effective partnerships between managers, clinicians, staff and their representatives.
  • To advise and support managers with investigations, including advising on suspensions and support with the development of the investigation report and the presentation of the findings at hearing.
  • To develop policies where appropriate, and to ensure that the policy timetable is adhered to.
  • To manage the HR Assistant and Investigation support Officer.

  • Significant experience in employee relations, specifically managing investigations
  • Ability to advise managers on complicated and/or sensitive ER issues

WE ARE CHANGEMAKERS

Picture the scene. It’s 2015. A young(ish) Pete Marshall, top of his recruitment game, a top performer. But something didn’t feel right, something had to change.

A move to another agency or a career change wasn’t going to cut it. Pete needed more. Having always wanted to run his own business, now was the time to launch a new consultancy – a consultancy that listened, that was honest, that delivered a contemporary approach to recruitment for today’s businesses, emerging talent and consultants. Not the same old, same old.

And so MLC was established to not only be a recruitment partner of choice but to change the face and reputation of the recruitment industry.

2022 saw MLC undergo a change of its own with the introduction of Angharad Kenward as Co-CEO – energetic, ambitious, a true recruitment nerd. Pete had met his match.

Now, almost 10 years on, MLC is an award-winning agency for the public and private sector, 20 people strong and growing. We may look different from the MLC of 2015, but our commitment to building a business around our people, driving change and exceeding expectations remains the same.
